Yes, we know it's been over a year since we updated this blog-for the few who still checked it, your faithful stalking has now payed off:)
Here's what's happened since the last post...
1. Jared got a full time job at the Detention Center and was promoted after only 6 months. His job is challenging and stressful, but he's really good at it (if I may say so) and we are so thankful for a stable job with great benefits!
2. Janelle still is working at the same school and is now the Curriculum Director, among other things and is loving it!! School starts again in only a few weeks, so she's in work mode already, trying to get things ready to go.
3. We bought a house last summer! We spent the whole summer redoing the house, but it's done and we just love it! It's on 3 acres, so we are thoroughly enjoying the space.
4. We celebrated our 3rd anniversary this month, and can't believe how fast it's gone. We are so thankful for each other and are blessed to be together.
5. And now, for possibly the biggest news of the past year (we think)...We're having a baby! Baby Sievert will be joining our family sometime at the end of January and we can't wait!! It has been so fun to share this news with our family and friends and we look forward to meeting this little one. Janelle has been feeling great, and we'll find out if it's a boy or a girl in about 4 weeks!!
We are going to try to update this blog more frequently, especially with all of the changes that have been happening in our family!
