Happy October!
Many things have happened, obviously, since our last post. We were married on August 11 on a perfect day, with a memorable ceremony and a great reception. If you want to check our our pictures, all you have to do is go to www.motleycatstudio.com, go to online events, find our event, and enter the password: 081107. We hope that you enjoy the pictures. We had an incredible time on our honeymoon, complete with lots of relaxation and a very exciting trip through the jungle on zip lines and rapelling down waterfalls. Since we've been back, Jared has been going to classes and keeping busy with homework and the honey-do lists I leave him:) I have been staying busy at school with teaching and with my grad classes. Right now it looks like it will take 3 years to finish my master's in special ed. administration. We are all settled into our apartment and have had fun making it "home". If you're ever in Holland, let us know, we love visitors!

Welcome to our blog!
We started this blog to be able to keep friends and family updated on our lives and all of the things that we have going on.
Our wedding is just 17 short days away and almost all of the planning is done! Jared and I have been tying ribbon, printing programs, and making seating charts. The most exciting thing of the whole process is that we finally get to start our life together. No more goodbyes on the weekend, thank goodness! We are so excited to celebrate with our family and friends and are so blessed to have them with us on our wedding day.
After the wedding we'll be going to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a week and then when we get back, I'll be getting ready to start teaching and Jared will be starting classes. We'll make sure to post pictures of the wedding and honeymoon when we get back!
